Al Hamra Golf Club locates in Ras Al Khaimah, about one hour’s drive north of Dubai. It was the first links course built along the shores of the Arabian Gulf. Famous golf architect Peter Harradine designed this course around a large lagoon with four sub-interconnected ones.
Al Hamra Golf Club is a 27-hole course divided into two parts, the 18-hole par-72 Championship course and the 9-hole par-3 Academy course. It is a golf course for golfers of all skill levels and abilities. Visitors can choose to play on a 9-hole or 18-hole round.
Water hazards are featured in several holes, most notably the 3rd and 18th ones. The 6th and 7th are, on the other hand, dry. They are on par 4 and lovely short. Some holes in this course have floodlights, making night golf a possibility.
Al Hamra Golf Club has additional facilities to cater to golfers’ needs. Look for a place to make friends and share experiences, the Bay Sports Bar is the right place. Or, if you want some mouth-watering dishes after a game, get ahead to the Pesto Restaurant.
Al Hamra Golf Club is equipped with a driving range, a pitching/chipping area, and a putting green for players to practice their swings. There are also teaching pros for golf beginners if needed.
