Dalat Palace Golf Club is the most highly awarded course in this inspired country and has attracted a full spectrum of international golfing enthusiasts. Measuring 7,009 yards from the tips, the course is an uninterrupted string of inventive, demanding golf holes.
The course underwent a multi-million dollar re-development in 1994, re-opening amid much anticipation. Its long list of awards speaks to its pedigree and team of internationally trained and experienced Golf Professionals ensure a course of world standard at the forefront of the industry.
The course is superbly located in Dalat in central Vietnam, a short half hour flight from Ho Chi Minh City or 1.5 hours from Hanoi, and is affectionately known as ‘Petit Paris’. The course makes full use of its mountainous setting and cooler climate with breathtaking views of famous Xuan Huong Lake nestled amongst French inspired architecture.
The original clubhouse, built in 1956, at the Dalat Palace Golf Club is still in use today. The restored period clubhouse houses a full pro shop, restaurant, wood burning fireplace and outdoor patio areas. The clubhouse restaurant offers both superb Vietnamese and International cuisine. A full practice facility complements the golf course and clubhouse, with a 290-yard grass driving range, a putting green, and practice bunkers. Landscaped areas surrounding the clubhouse contain beautiful gardens with bougainvillea, red salvia, impatiens, mimosa, and hydrangeas. Views from the clubhouse patios include terraced rice fields and pine forests.
