Del Monte Golf and Country Club

9RHQ+HFJ, Sayre Hwy, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, Philippines

Del Monte Golf and Country Club is a medium size golf course built in 1928. It situates in the Del Monte Plantation of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, about 30 minutes south of Davao City.

It is an 18-hole par 72 course. The first nine holes were designed by Peter Crawford – a professional basketball player, while the others were fashioned by Celestino Tugot – a national golf legend. Del Monte Golf and Country Club is an all-weather course where players can enjoy a golf round at any time of the year. It is located approximately 600 meters above sea level, so the weather is cool all year round.

Del Monte Golf and Country Club is famous for its magnificent setting. Artificial lakes, greens, and pine trees are set up strategically to create a golf course that is not only challenging but also stunning. Sand traps and undulating fairways will add more difficulties to the game. Be careful with these hazards, especially in Holes 7 and 16, known as the Waterloo and Warne Holes. You can choose to play a 9-hole or 18-hole round.

This course was originally a pineapple plantation, and pineapple juice is still served here as a special drink for golfers after the rounds, so don’t forget to give it a try. You can also find a pro shop with high-qualified golf equipment within the ground of Del Monte Golf and Country Club.
