ERPM Golf Club, established in 1903, is one of Gauteng’s historic golf courses. Initially, three holes were built around the first school in Boksburg, a wood and iron structure that still stands today. This building also served as the club’s first clubhouse and is located on the right-hand side of the first fairway, adding a touch of historical charm to the course.
The club underwent significant redevelopment between October 1992 and May 1993, during which time golf was played on 18 temporary greens. The newly designed 18-hole course was officially opened on May 1, 1993, by then-chairman Willie Tredoux.
ERPM Golf Club offers a challenging yet enjoyable golfing experience, blending its rich history with modern amenities. The course is known for its well-maintained greens and welcoming atmosphere, making it a favorite among local golfers and visitors alike. Its enduring legacy and commitment to quality make ERPM Golf Club a standout destination in Gauteng.
