Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Club is located in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, China. This is one of the most unique golf courses in the world. With an altitude somewhere in the vicinity of 3,100 metres, this is the highest golf course in Asia and the second in the world. This course is recognised as the longest par-72 course in the world due to its total length of 8,548 yards. Because the air is thin at this altitude, golf balls tend to fly about 15-20% farther than normal.
Designed by Neil Haworth, this course is divided into two parts: the former is a 9-hole follow-links-style course with large fairways and little greens, while the latter boasts winding terrain with height changes, challenging players’ skills. Golfers can admire the majestic Ngoc Long snow mountain with 13 peaks covered by snow year-round from almost every hole. Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Club is not only an ideal golf destination but also a spot to admire spectacular natural scenery.
