Lakewood Country Club, located just 18 km from Bangkok off Bangna-Trad Highway, is set in serene and verdant parkland next to Huachiew Chalermprakiet University. Home to the finest 27-hole world-class golf course designed by Michael J. Poellet (USA), Lakewood Country Club is only 10 min. away from Suvarnabhumi International Airport, which makes it convenient for golfers to drop by for a round of golf upon arrival or before departure.
Lakewood Country Club is home to over 50 species of beautiful plants and trees as well as other flora and fauna. More than 5,000 trees dot the fairways. The golf course is well maintained all year round and has excellent drainage making it a good choice in any season. With a challenging yet balanced mix of risks and rewards, Lakewood Country Club provides golfers a unique and memorable experience. Thanks to the beautiful and awe-inspiring layout and its close proximity to the international airport, Lakewood has long been the most sought after golf course among Thais as well as foreigners, expatriates and tourists alike.
Surrounded by a luxurious housing estate, Lakewood Country Club comprises three partials of nine holes each Rock Course, Lake Course and Wood Course. Each of the three nines is unique in design and character but, together, they are always kept balanced as to the degree of difficulty to make it playable for golfers of all skill levels. The par-72 course has four designated tees black, blue, white and red with the total yardage measuring 7,014 from the farthest tees. The tees, fairways and roughs are grassed with Bermuda and the greens are carpeted with Tiff Dwarf Bermuda grass. The fairways are wide and generously dotted with tall trees, while roughs, bunkers, subtle doglegs and undulating greens spice up the challenge. Water comes into play on quite a few holes.
