Mida Golf Club is situated about a 35-minute drive west of Kanchanaburi off Highway 3229. Originally developed as Lion Hills Golf & Country Club, the course and surrounding resort areas were sold and renamed in 2010. Mida Golf Club is a regulation par-72 course that spans over 800 acres and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and wooded landscape that feature throughout the layout. Most of the holes are tree-lined with flattish fairways, and the greens have little undulation, making straight putting more important than good green reading.
Facilities at Mida Golf Club are adequate, including a driving range, pitching and chipping areas, and a practice green. The clubhouse, though small for Thai golf course standards, is more than sufficient for the golfer’s needs. This club is suitable for families and outings of golfers with different abilities. Most golfers will have a fun day of golf and achieve good scores.
However, it’s worth noting that Mida Golf Club can be very crowded with large Korean golf groups from December to February. Therefore, it’s best to visit during other times of the year when the course is more open and pleasant to play.
