Nilai Springs Golf Country Club was officially opened in August 4th, 1996. Currently it has 2,500 members and is the premier golf club in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
Nilai Springs Golf Country Club evokes images of green, wide, undulating fairways surround by the lushness of local flora. Designed to blend with nature, the popular golf course is carefully preserved and maintained for the benefit of its members and guests. The nature concept is clearly seen through the preservation of an existing stream, which now serves as water hazards as well as the conservation of the site’s natural features and contours.
Nilai Springs Golf Country Club contains 3-nine courses, namely the Mango, Island and Pines nine. The Mango Nine is Nilai Spring’s most interesting among the three nines. Its 3056-meter layout offers golfers three outstanding holes –Nos. 1,6 and 9 –as it winds through a landscape of elevation changes. Like the Mango nine, the Island Nine challenges players with three inventive holes –Nos. 10, 13 and 17. Throughout its 3,083 metres, this dramatic tract challenges golfers with steeply-sloped hillsides, an abundance of water and numerous sand bunkers. The Pines nine measures at 3,018 metres features two par 4s of 385 metres and a long par 3 of 165 metres. Strong golf shots and good putting are a must on this grouping of holes if hopes to equal par.
The golf course is not the only star here. The clubhouse, spacious and aesthetically pleasing, boasts a wide range of activities that appeal to non-golfers as well. Members and guests alike often find their ways there to either just unwind and relax or get vigorously involved in a host of captivating activities in Nilai Springs Golf Country Club such as wall climbing, badminton, tennis, squash and swimming.
