Nestled in the scenic Sentul highlands, close to the verdant city of Bogor, Palm Hill Golf Club’s 18-hole course stands as a captivating marvel. This picturesque course, ensconced amidst hills rolling towards Mount Salak, is an inviting masterpiece. Conceived by Tom Matteson and brought to life by Japan’s Taisei Corporation, the layout is generously forgiving, permitting players to recover stray shots from almost every neighboring fairway.
A rock-studded river creates a natural barrier between holes 10 through 15 and the rest of the course. Challenges include water crossings on holes 7, 11, 13, and 15, with water hazards threatening play from tees or landing areas on holes 5, 7, 9, and 18.
Palm Hill Golf Club, like its Bogor counterparts, boasts stunning vistas. During the rainy season, the once-calm river transforms into a roaring spectacle. The imposing Mount Salak oversees the course from afar, while the fairways below flourish with lush Bermuda grass.
