Rajjaprabha Dam Golf Course
Rajjaprabha Dam Golf Course is a real head-turner and a joy to play thanks to the superlative layout, some very challenging holes and its picturesque setting. The course is beautifully landscaped with an abundance of ancient jungle and great thought has been put into the placement of holes. What makes Rajjaprabha Dam Golf Course really stand out is the profusion of water, care of the Dam. The end result, artfully blended into the natural surrounds offers lovely visual contracts of light and shadow.
The four par 3’s are quite demanding, given their length. The shortest is the 165-yard 6th , a hill-top tee with views over the entire valley and Dam, jungle to the left and right, a pond in front and bunkers behind the green. What more can be said? A dramatic approach to the finish through an uphill alley of native trees, the short but extraordinarily steep 215-yard 16th requires a demanding, well-positioned tee shot, followed by an approach shot with bunkers left and right.
