The Country Club Philippines was named the 2nd best golf club in this country by the website “Top 100 Golf Courses” in 2017 after hosting the 2017 Philippines Open. It is situated in Santa Rosa City, just 50 kilometers south of Manila, and is an ideal place for a weekend golf tour.
It was fashioned by Tom Weiskopf, a well-known golf legend and master golf architect. In the ground of sugar lands, he created a golf masterpiece with three layouts: the Forward Course (6083 yards), the Standard Course (6706 yards), and the Championship Course (7256 yards). This makes The Country Club Philippines the longest golf course, not only in this country but also in Asia.
Each course of this club is suitable for players at different skill levels. However, finishing all 18 holes will be a true satisfaction, even for professional golfers. Greens surrounded by bunkers, water hazards, and deep ravines are strategically set up along the fairways to make the game more demanding. It requires a high level of accuracy and careful calculation to come to the end of the tournament.
The Country Club Philippines has additional facilities to accommodate players, such as putting green, driving range, and tee houses along the fairways. A restaurant, bar, locker rooms for both males and females, and showers are also available.
