The University Putra Malaysia Golf Club (also known as UniPutra Malaysia Golf Club – UPM), established in 1981 with nine holes, were originally designed for agricultural and physical education purposes. However, over time, they have also evolved into a popular recreational spot for staff, students, and the general public.
The breathtaking natural scenery adds to the appeal, allowing all members of the university community to enjoy the game amidst beautiful surroundings. While the golf course is open to the public, membership is limited to university employees.
The Nine Orchard section, encompassing holes 1 to 9, provides a serene and picturesque setting that offers golfers a pleasant experience amidst pure natural beauty. The course is adorned with fruit trees, further enhancing its charm. The Nine Forest area, surrounded by lush trees and captivating natural vistas, presents a more challenging terrain for golfers. Additional amenities include a Driving Range and Practice Green for honing skills, Resident Golf Professionals for guidance, a cafeteria for refreshments, a club golf house for socializing, and changing rooms for convenience.
